What is Duromine?

Duromine is a weight loss pill that is more commonly known with phentermine and there’s such a close relationship to the two in fact that the terms "Duromine" and "Phentermine" are often used interchangeably.

When phentermine is used as a fast-acting drug, it’s known by the name Adipex and when it is used as a slow-acting, or time-released drug, it’s then known by the name Duromine.

When should you use Duromine?

Duromine is not a drug that should be taken lightly and there are some very serious side effects that come with it. If this drug is to be used at all, which is generally not recommended, it should only be taken in the very most severe cases of obesity.

Duromine is considered to be such a risky drug that it is actually considered to be a Schedule IV controlled substance, which means that not only is available by prescription only but it is also only to be taken under the direct care of your doctor and in an instance when you can be closely monitored while taking the drug.

Duromine side effects

As with any drug, Duromine does come with side effects. The difference in the case of Duromine is that even the common, or non-severe, side effects that are usually found with any drug, are actually felt to a fairly intense degree when you are taking Duromine.

These common side effects are:

• inability to sleep
• increased blood pressure
• irritability
• nervousness
• general feeling of happiness
• dry mouth with or without a bad taste
• blurriness in vision
• heartburn or acid reflux
• change in libido
• clumsiness and dizziness
• feeling of confusion
• headaches
• heartbeat irregularity
• nausea, with or without vomiting
• psychosis
• skin sensitivities such as itchiness or appearance of a rash
• painful stomach
• extreme fatigue

What makes Duromine even scarier is that there are even more side effects, which though they claim to be "more severe but less common", have still been felt by a great many people using the drug. If you feel any of these side effects you need to stop taking Duromine immediately.

These more serious side effects are:

• convulsions or seizures
• fever
• hallucinations
• sudden feeling of hostility and urges to attack
• inconsistent blood pressure
• feeling lightheaded
• a time when you feel very excited followed by a period of mass depression
• tremors
• physical overreactions (such as in the reflexes)
• panic attacks
• restlessness
• extreme problems with diarrhea
• vomiting and/or nausea
• feeling extremely fatigued or weak

Duromine – not recommended at all!

The chances that you will lose weight while Duromine are probably very good but the side effects, considering the severity, are just not worth it. In addition, the fact that it is considered to be a controlled substance should also give some indication to the fact that there could be very serious consequences with this drug.

There are so many other great supplements on the market that have less severe side effects that it’s most likely worth looking into some of those before taking Duromine. Duromine is simply not worth it and the drastic results could most certainly be found elsewhere.
