How to get more fiber into your diet

B4JA7H.jpgFiber has gotten a bad name in the world of food because people often associate it with bland-tasting food that has a rough and uneven texture.

However with the emergence of Appesat, a fairly new diet pill on the market, fiber has regained its good name as one of the healthiest and most beneficial things you can do for yourself. Unfortunately, it comes at the downfall of Appesat’s name.

Appesat is one of the weight loss supplements made mostly from fiber so it makes sense that you can save money and lose weight naturally by simply getting more fiber in your diet. Fiber consists of many complex carbohydrates, these of which can either be soluble or insoluble. Fiber is different from other food because it contains no vitamins, minerals, or calories. Because of this it passes right through your system without being digested.

Fiber has huge health benefits aside from its ability to help you lose weight. Fiber can help with just about every part of digestion and so it’s helpful for bowl problems, hemorrhoids, and even more serious conditions such as bowel and colon cancer. If you decide to take fiber to help you with weight loss, the chances are that you’ll not only be amazed at how much weight you lose but you’ll also be surprised at the many other health benefits as well!

People who are trying to lose weight or suffering from conditions such as constipation are often encouraged to eat plenty of fiber because it can flush out the system, eliminate waste, and detoxify your system. However, expensive supplements such as Appesat are not necessary because you can find lots of fiber within a proper diet, which will be cheaper and healthier for you.

AJ6F61.jpgMany people who want to get more fiber into their diet aren’t sure how to do so because they’re not entirely sure where fiber can be found. The most important thing to remember is that fiber can only be found in plant stem wall cells and so you cannot incorporate fiber into your diet by eating meat.

Fruits, vegetables, and grains are much better sources of fiber than meat and protein sources. Here are some great ideas for getting more fiber into your diet and you’ll barely even notice you’re eating fiber!

  • Breakfast is probably the meal that’s easiest to get fiber as you can eat it in just about any breakfast food. Choose from whole wheat breads and muffins or eat a bowl of whole grain cereal or oatmeal porridge. Down it all with a fruit smoothie and you’ve just gotten a great dose of fiber!
  • Lunch time doesn’t have to be any harder to get more fiber into your diet. Making a sandwich on whole wheat bread is a great start and it’s even better if you pack that sandwich with veggies! Enjoy beans on whole wheat toast or a nice hot bowl of vegetable soup. These are all great options too!
  • Get creative at dinner with your fiber options and serve more than just a salad! Whip up a vegetable stir fry or go Mexican and make burritos and enchiladas, all made on whole wheat tortillas!

With just a little imagination and finding your favorite fresh, fiber-rich food, getting more fiber into your diet is easy!
